St. Louis $18 - $20/HR Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Perform environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled areas.
Collect samples such as air, surface, and personnel monitoring samples.
Use equipment such as air samplers, particle counters, and contact plates.
Perform microbial sampling using swabs and agar plates.
Document sampling activities following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
Incubate and track samples for microbial growth.
Record results and report any contamination or out-of-specification findings.
Assist with investigations and corrective actions when contamination is detected.
Maintain monitoring equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
Follow strict cleanroom procedures, gowning requirements, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related science field (sometimes equivalent lab experience accepted).
Experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of microbiology and sterile techniques.
Familiarity with GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
