Production Maintenance

Position Summary

The Production Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to help ensure equipment reliability, safety, and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, testing, adjustments, and basic calibrations.
  • Read and work from schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and operating properly after repairs.
  • Follow company safety procedures, SOPs, and applicable quality standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Systems, Automation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1+ years of maintenance or troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience using hand tools, meters, and testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with automated equipment, motors, sensors, PLCs, pneumatics, or hydraulics is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
  • Must be comfortable working around industrial equipment and wearing required PPE.
  • May work in environments with noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off-shift hours as needed.
