Quality Control Associate

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the analytical laboratory, including staff supervision, workflow management, and equipment oversight.
• Direct the preparation and confirmatory analysis of biological specimens using HPLC in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely, accurate result certification and adherence to quality and turnaround time expectations.
• Manage laboratory inventory, allocate analytical resources, and respond to fluctuations in workload.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
• Participate in internal and external audits, serving as a technical resource for inspections and process reviews.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field
• 2-6 years of laboratory experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in sample preparation and HPLC instrumentation and methodologies.
• Familiarity with GMP and Quality Control requirements.
• Ability to enforce compliance and maintain a high standard of laboratory operations and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
