Microbiology Technician

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing using techniques such as PCR, microscopy, and cell culture.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and document test results using LIMS and other laboratory systems.

• Follow GLP, GMP, FDA, and aseptic practices to ensure quality and prevent contamination.

• Assist with method development, validation, and preparation of technical reports and laboratory documentation.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with troubleshooting, calibration, and routine maintenance.

• Follow laboratory safety procedures and collaborate with team members to support testing and quality objectives.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.

• Laboratory experience with microbiological testing and molecular biology techniques.

• Familiarity with microbial culture, PCR, microscopy, or cell culture.

• Understanding of GLP, GMP, FDA regulations, and aseptic laboratory practices.

• Experience with LIMS and laboratory documentation is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
