Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to support laboratory testing and analysis within a fast-paced scientific environment. This role is responsible for performing laboratory procedures related to food, feed, and ingredient testing, while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate will contribute to daily laboratory operations through sample preparation, molecular biology techniques, and quality-focused documentation practices. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a regulated laboratory setting focused on delivering reliable analytical results. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory analysis on food, feed, and food ingredient samples
• Conduct sample preparation, DNA extraction, PCR, and ELISA testing procedures
• Complete laboratory assignments accurately and within required timelines
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory work procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Document laboratory activities and maintain accurate records for quality control purposes
• Support QA/QC activities and maintain related documentation as assigned
• Identify analytical, method, or matrix-related issues and communicate findings to supervisors
• Utilize electronic systems for data entry and record management
• Assist with additional laboratory-related duties as needed
