Lead Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing equipment.
• Lead capital equipment projects including specification, procurement, installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup.
• Develop and own URS, technical specifications, and equipment lifecycle documentation.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and reliability improvements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, MSAT, QA, Validation, and Maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Direct experience with OSD equipment (blending, granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, milling).
• Proven capital project leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations and validation requirements.
• Experience working with OEMs and managing vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
