Medical Device Assembler

Bloomington $16 - $18/HR Contract

Job Overview:
This role involves hands-on assembly, inspection, and packaging of medical devices in a regulated production environment. The Medical Device Assembler supports the manufacturing process by following strict quality, safety, and documentation standards. Team members may be trained in production, quality control, or packaging depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high quality products for patient use.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble medical devices using processes such as cutting, grinding, soldering, bonding, and gluing

  • Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and product specifications

  • Operate tools and equipment safely in accordance with standard operating procedures

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices

  • Inspect parts and finished devices to ensure they meet defined quality standards

  • Verify dimensions, bond integrity, visual appearance, and other product attributes

  • Document inspection results accurately and report deviations when identified

  • Support compliance with regulated quality systems including ISO 13485 and FDA requirements

  • Package finished devices in sterile or non sterile configurations

  • Assemble kits, apply accurate labeling, and ensure full traceability of materials

  • Stage packaged products for inventory or shipment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States

  • Valid driver license

  • Ability to pass pre employment screenings including drug screen and background check

  • Meets required vision standards for the role

  • Ability to complete all onboarding documentation
