Maintenance Technician

Indianapolis $25 - $32/HR Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee machinery during production processes, providing support when components or products become stuck and ensuring proper alignment or adjustments are made.
  • Replace machinery parts as necessary to maintain operations.
  • Analyze machinery performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned machinery or as needed.
  • Independently maintain specific areas within the manufacturing process.
  • Provide support to Tech II and III for more complex and intensive tasks.
  • Receive training and guidance from Tech II and Tech III to enhance skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Tech I: A degree or certification in a related field and/or 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Tech II: A degree in a related field and/or 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Tech III: A degree in a related field and/or 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Lead, Maintenance: Experience in a leadership maintenance role and/or 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
