QC Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and batch testing on in-process, finished products, and stability samples.
• Assist with the sampling and testing of incoming materials that require QC testing as needed.
• Develop and update SOPs and other relevant documents related to laboratory equipment and processes.
• Contribute to laboratory investigations and deviations, offering subject matter expert support when required.
• Carry out routine laboratory work orders for maintenance and non-critical calibrations.
• Provide training to QC and Development personnel on instruments and assays during cross-training opportunities.
• Support the professional development of QC Chemistry Technician staff within the QC laboratory.
• Foster a team-oriented approach, serving as both a facilitator and contributor to special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry).
• At least 2 years of experience in a regulated industry, with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a GMP environment or Quality Control testing.
• Proficient in operating analytical instruments such as UHPLC/HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, TOC
• Perform method validation/transfer, along with experience using laboratory computer systems, with a solid understanding of data integrity standards.
