QC Microbiology Technician

Responsibilities: 

• Perform environmental monitoring activities in aseptic and controlled environments according to SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Incubate and enumerate microbial growth from environmental monitoring samples.
• Accurately document testing activities and results in LIMS, logbooks, and controlled records following GDP principles.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Facilities, and other departments to support GMP activities.
• Complete laboratory cleaning, equipment preparation, task tracking, and handover activities.
• Maintain required training and assist with limited-scope laboratory investigations.
• Follow all applicable safety, cleanroom, PPE, and quality requirements.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology or a related field.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills, including accurate data entry and electronic recordkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow written procedures and documentation requirements.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in GMP-regulated laboratory and cleanroom environments while wearing required PPE.
