Warehouse Specialist - Life Sciences

Indianapolis $20/HR - $25/HR Contract

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support operations within a regulated life sciences environment. This role involves handling, organizing, and documenting sensitive materials, including pharmaceutical and biotech products, in accordance with strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, enjoy working in a clean and structured environment, and take pride in accuracy and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of materials and products.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment following established procedures and specifications.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Ensure materials are stored appropriately, including temperature-controlled environments when required.

  • Perform labeling, documentation, and verification of all shipments to meet quality and regulatory standards.

  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

  • Adhere to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all safety policies.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient daily operations.

  • Identify and report any deviations or quality concerns to management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in logistics or life sciences preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling (GMP or FDA-regulated experience a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Ability to follow SOPs and work in a compliant, process-driven environment.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled storage areas.

  • Commitment to maintaining safety and product integrity at all times.
