Laboratory Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain greenhouse plants through watering, fertilizing, pruning, transplanting, and general plant care.

• Assist with planting, propagation, and cultivation of crops used in research and development programs.

• Monitor and maintain greenhouse environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, irrigation, and lighting systems.

• Collect plant growth data and record observations related to plant health, development, and experimental results.

• Support pollination, tagging, labeling, and tracking of plant materials used in research trials.

• Follow company protocols and safety procedures when handling plant materials, fertilizers, and pest control products.

Qualifications: 

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Biology preferred. 

• 0–3 years of experience working in greenhouse operations, plant research, or agricultural production preferred.

• Ability to accurately collect and record plant data and follow research protocols.
