Senior Project Manager

St. Louis $80,000 - $95,000/yr Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Regulatory, and other business functions within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning for strategic operational and new product initiatives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align priorities, mitigate project risks, and ensure successful execution of business-critical programs
  • Support governance and escalation processes for ongoing operational and development-related projects
  • Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams and key stakeholders
  • Assist with project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting activities during planning and execution phases
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to PMO processes, reporting tools, resource planning, and project visibility
  • Coordinate activities between manufacturing, validation, quality, and technical operations teams to maintain project alignment and execution
  • Utilize project management systems and reporting tools to track progress, manage deliverables, and support decision-making
  • Support integration and business continuity activities related to operational initiatives and organizational growth projects

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects involving operations, manufacturing, quality, engineering, or supply chain teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (MSP) for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments and quality/compliance expectations preferred
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, technical projects, or process improvement initiatives is a plus
  • Ability to identify project risks, coordinate mitigation efforts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Experience with PMO processes, resource planning, or project governance structures preferred
  • PMP certification, Lean, or Six Sigma training is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
