Medical Device Assembler

Bloomington $16 - $19/HR Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team as Medical Device Assemblers. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of precision medical devices in a controlled manufacturing environment. You will work with small parts and use various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality product assembly that meets strict regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble medical device components following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, soldering, bonding, and gluing parts and materials
  • Use hand tools, small machinery, and measuring instruments with precision
  • Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished products to ensure quality compliance
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with GMP and safety standards
  • Accurately complete documentation and production records
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work under a microscope or in small-scale environments (as needed)
  • Comfortable using small tools and working with adhesives, heat tools, or soldering equipment
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
