Inventory Specialist

Indianapolis $22 - $25/HR Contract

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, and Quality (SISPQ) of all cGMP consumables, finished products, and equipment throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Purchasing teams to resolve supply chain and material-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with Genezen’s packaging and documentation standards.
  • Support inventory management, including cycle counts and adherence to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles.
  • Process work orders such as picklists, staging, closures, and shipments.
  • Assist with packaging and coordinate shipments under cGMP guidelines, including preparing documentation and partnering with carriers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following established sanitization and waste disposal procedures.
  • Perform basic laboratory maintenance and support manufacturing operations by ensuring adequate material supply.
  • Adhere to and stay current with all applicable SOPs and training requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a cGMP environment.
  • 2+ years in shipping, receiving, or material handling within a regulated industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management preferred.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is a plus.
  • 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience preferred.
