Health Physicist

A radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site is seeking a health physicist to support radiation safety programs across production and R&D operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe handling of radioactive materials and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain radiation safety programs and procedures
• Monitor radiation exposure levels and ensure compliance with NRC/state regulatory requirements
• Conduct surveys, audits, and investigations related to radiation safety
• Train staff on radiation safety protocols and proper handling procedures
• Maintain licensing documentation and support regulatory inspections
• Partner with production, QC, and EHS teams on safety initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiation Science, Nuclear Engineering, or related field (Master's a plus)
• Experience in a radiopharmaceutical, nuclear medicine, or related regulated manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with NRC and state radiation control regulations
• Strong documentation and communication skills
