Laboratory Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory testing to support research and product development activities including immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA and other assays.
• Prepare, process and analyze samples, including tissue samples.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including automated staining platforms when applicable.
• Complete accurate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and support maintenance of development of technical files.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with applicable regulatory and quality system standards.
• Interpret and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
• Maintain high quality standards while managing multiple tasks and meeting project deadlines.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

• BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field; equivalent laboratory experience considered.
• Minimum of 1+ year(s) of relevant laboratory experience in a research environment.
• Hands on experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC) required. 
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, chemical & analytical techniques, and equipment setup.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory setting and handling hazardous materials safely.
• Detail-oriented with high ethical standards in laboratory work.
• Experience with automated liquid handling is preferred.
