Process Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and deploy PLC and HMI programs supporting process control and automation systems
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings, contributing technical input from early planning stages
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities
• Develop and maintain automation documentation, including functional specifications, design specifications, and system configuration records
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to track action items and keep projects on schedule
• Support integration of control systems with other plant and enterprise systems as needed
• Travel to project and vendor sites as needed to support installation and commissioning work

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in industrial automation, process control, or controls engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming and HMI development
• Experience delivering automation projects from design through commissioning
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control system documentation
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across active projects
• Comfortable working on-site and traveling as project needs require
