Inspection and Packaging Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and guide a team of inspection and packaging associates on a daily basis.
• Perform and monitor inspection of filled product containers for cosmetic, particulate, and integrity-related defects.
• Ensure timely and accurate review of batch records, forms, and logbooks.
• Reconcile inspected/packaged product and associated defects.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing area process documents and SOPs.
• Operate inspection and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all cGMP regulations, internal policies, and quality standards.
• Train and mentor new inspectors and team members, including ERP transactions and certification protocols.
• Perform duties in cleanroom environments (Grade C, D, and CNC).
• Participate in cleaning, sanitization, and cross-functional manufacturing support activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively across teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and Materials.
• Be flexible in working hours to ensure adequate shift coverage and operational continuity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in GMP pharmaceutical inspection and/or packaging.
• Demonstrated experience working in a regulated cleanroom environment.
• Must pass annual vision testing (visual acuity and color blindness).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to concentrate during repetitive tasks.
• Experience with ERP systems and batch record documentation is preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
