Medical Device Production Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Production Technician to support the assembly, inspection, and packaging of high-quality medical devices. In this role, you will work with precision tools and follow detailed instructions to ensure products meet strict regulatory and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring focus, accuracy, and a commitment to compliance in a clean manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble medical devices using techniques such as cutting, grinding, soldering, bonding, and gluing

• Read and interpret detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications

• Safely operate tools and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Inspect parts and finished devices to confirm adherence to quality standards

• Verify dimensions, bond strength, and surface finishes, and identify visual defects

• Accurately record inspection results and escalate issues or deviations as needed

• Support compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and internal quality systems

• Package finished devices in sterile or non-sterile packaging according to requirements

• Assemble kits, apply correct labeling, and complete documentation for traceability

• Stage packaged products for inventory or shipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum age of 18 with authorization to work in the U.S.

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong and consistent work history with at least 8 months in the most recent role

• Ability to meet vision requirements of 20/40 (both eyes)

• Willingness to complete onboarding paperwork and compliance requirements

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
